This course provides an excellent, fun filled, hands on, practical one-day
introduction to digital painting and book cover illustration techniques using
photoshop CS3. The following elements will be looked at:
- Opening and creating new images and work with the Photoshop
workspace - Creating custom brushes,
- applying effects and filters
- Working with colour adjustments and layer transparancy to produce
some stunning results. - Applying text onto finished works to create the perfect book cover
This course will be suitable for fine artists looking for a general introduction
to working effectively with digital images and those who wish to familiarise
themselves with digital ways of working, developing colour ideas, painting
techniques and compositional layouts before attempting a final painted work.
